India is a democratic country. Every indian is governed by the two Governments, the State Government and the Central Government. Elections are held every five years to elect the Loksabha members (Central Govt) and the Rajya Sabha Members (State Govt). The Loksabha elections are fought on national issues and the states elections on local issues. The political parties, resorts to all sorts of tantrums to win the elections. Money, Liquor, freebies, empty promises and many more. The Indian political system is broadly based on Religion, caste and region. Many political parties are affiliated to a particular segment, for example, the ruling BJP is inclined towards Hinduism, and is known as an arm of the RSS. Likewise Akali Dal is linked to Sikhs, AIMIM to Muslims, BSP to Dalits, and so on. Money plays the most crucial role in Indian political system. The people, even after being well informed that the candidates are uneducated, corrupt, with criminal cases pending against them, vote for them and elect them to Parliament. There they enact laws and run the country.
You may be wondering that what funbook has to do with the narration of the political system of India. Hold on for a second and look around you, you will see lots of funny things about politics and politicians in India. For example, most of the political leaders are Billionaires and yet they enjoy everything for free, be it Security, Residence, Transport, Telephone, Medical facilities, Office, you name it and they have it for free. Even, their income tax is paid by the respective Governments, and this is all paid out of the tax money collected from the general public. The Neta gets elected with the power of money, and after coming to power is influenced by another political party with money, and joins that party, you had voted against. Doesn’t it look funny to you? From among all of these political drama, something arises, which forms part of satire and humor.
Political memes, cartoons, statements of politicians, acts of politicians, politically oriented shows of stand-up comedians etc. generates lots of fun. In short, the Indian political system and the politicians are always in the center stage of sarcasm and satire. I find that Indian politicians are the funniest people in India and feel that the Funbook is incomplete without them. भारत एक लोकतांत्रिक देश है। प्रत्येक भारतीय दो सरकारों, राज्य सरकार और केंद्र सरकार द्वारा शासित होता है। लोकसभा सदस्यों (केंद्रीय सरकार) और राज्यसभा सदस्यों (राज्य सरकार) के चुनाव के लिए हर पांच साल में चुनाव होते हैं। लोक सभा चुनाव राष्ट्रीय मुद्दों पर और राज्यों के चुनाव स्थानीय मुद्दों पर लड़े जाते हैं। राजनीतिक दल चुनाव जीतने के लिए हर तरह के हथकंडे अपनाते हैं जैसे कि पैसा, शराब, मुफ्त सुविधाएं, झूठे वादे और बहुत कुछ। भारतीय राजनीतिक प्रणाली मोटे तौर पर धर्म, जाति और क्षेत्रीय ताने बाने पर आधारित है। कई राजनीतिक दल एक विशेष वर्ग से जुड़े हुए हैं। उदाहरण के लिए, सत्तारूढ़ भाजपा को हिंदू धर्म, अकाली दल को सिखों, बसपा को दलितों और इसी तरह अन्य क्षेत्रीय दलों को किसी न किसी धर्म विशेष आदि से जोड़ा जाता है। चुनाव में पैसा सबसे महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाता है। लोग यह अच्छी तरह जानते हुए भी कि चुनाव में खड़े उम्मीदवार अशिक्षित हैं, भ्रष्ट हैं और उनके खिलाफ आपराधिक मामले लंबित हैं, उन्हें वोट देते हैं और उन्हें संसद में भेजते हैं जहां वे कानून बनाते हैं और देश को चलाते हैं।
आप सोच रहे होंगे कि भारत की राजनीतिक प्रणाली के इस कथन के साथ फनबुक का क्या लेना-देना है। ज़रा रुकें और अपने चारों ओर देखें, आपको भारत में राजनीति और राजनेताओं के बारे में बहुत सारी मजेदार और रोचक बातें दिखेंगी। उदाहरण के लिए, अधिकांश राजनीतिक नेता करोड़पति हैं, और यदि नहीं हैं, तो राजनीति में आने के बाद इनका करोड़पति बनना तय है। इसके बावज़ूद, ये मुफ़्त में सभी सुविधाओं का लुत्फ़ उठाते है। सुरक्षा, निवास, परिवहन, फोन, चिकित्सा सुविधाएं, कार्यालय इनके लिए सब मुफ्त हैं। यहां तक कि उनके आयकर का भुगतान भी संबंधित सरकारों द्वारा किया जाता रहा है। यह सभी खर्च आम माध्यम वर्ग की जनता से वसूले गए कर से किया जाता है। जनता की वोट, पैसे के जोर पर खरीद कर नेता सत्ता में आता है। फिर जनता द्वारा चुने गए नेता को कोई अन्य पार्टी खरीद लेती है और वह नेता आराम से उस पार्टी में चला जाता है जिसके आप धुर विरोधी थे। क्या यह आपको भद्दा मजाक नहीं लगता? इन सभी के बीच से कुछ ऐसा पैदा होता है, जो व्यंग एवं हास्य का हिस्सा बनता है।
